Who we are
Soulmate is operated by Dream Group ("we", "us"), Dhaka, Bangladesh. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@dreamithq.com.
What we collect
Account and sign-in
You sign in with Google, email and password, or your phone number, handled by Firebase Authentication (a Google service). We receive a unique account ID and, depending on the method, your email address, phone number and the name on your Google account. We do not receive your Google password.
Profile you create
First name, date of birth (we show only your age), gender, who you're interested in, what you're looking for (friendship, something serious or marriage), photos, and anything you choose to add: bio, work, education, height, religion and how religious you are, a family note, interests, prompt answers, your city and your home district. Religion is optional. If you add it, you are choosing to show it on your profile and to use it for matching.
Photos and media
Profile photos, images and voice notes you send in chat. Photos are compressed on your phone before upload and checked by automated moderation before they appear publicly.
Verification selfie
If you verify, a selfie and the result of simple liveness checks. See Verification selfies.
Approximate location
If you allow it, your approximate (coarse) location from your phone. See Location.
Activity in the app
Likes, passes, matches, messages, call records (who called whom, when, how long; we do not record call audio or video), blocks and reports, your preferences and settings, purchases of Soulmate Plus (we receive a confirmation from Google Play, never your card details).
Device and technical data
A push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), app version, platform, time zone, and the IP address and basic request data that our servers and Cloudflare's network log to deliver the service and protect it from abuse. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
Verification selfies
Verification is optional, but some features (such as appearing to people who choose "verified only") need it. You can ask us to remove your verified status at any time.
Location
- We ask only for approximate location, never precise GPS location, and never in the background.
- Your phone sends it at most every 30 minutes while you use the app. Our server rounds it to about 1 km and stores a coarse area code plus your city and country.
- Other people see only your city or area and a rounded distance (never less than 1 km), and you can hide distance completely.
- If you don't allow location, we use the country and city your connection comes from, or a city you choose.

We do not use your messages, photos or selfie for advertising, and we do not sell personal data.
Anonymous chat
Anonymous chat is optional. It lets two people talk before seeing each other's profile.
- Only verified adults (18+) can use it.
- Anonymous chats are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
- If a chat is reported, we keep that chat for up to 90 days so our safety team can review it, then delete it.
- Sharing contact details (phone numbers, social media handles, email addresses) is not allowed, and automated checks may hide them.
- On Android, screenshots are blocked in anonymous chats.
Soul AI (AI companion)
Soul AI is an optional AI companion you can chat with in the Chats tab. It is an AI, not a real person. It is always labelled as AI, never appears in Discover, matches, likes or Anonymous chat, and never claims to be human.
- Who can use it: adults aged 18 and over only.
- What it uses: your own profile (first name, age, city, interests, what you're looking for, prompts and quiz answers) and your conversation with it. It never uses other members' private data.
- Memory: to keep conversations personal, Soul AI saves short notes about things you tell it (for example "exam on Sunday"). On the free plan, notes older than 7 days are summarised or removed. With Plus, they are kept until you delete them.
- Your control: you can reset its memory or delete the companion at any time in the app. Deleting the companion deletes its memory and your conversation with it. Deleting your account deletes everything.
- Processing: replies are generated by AI models running on Cloudflare (Workers AI). Request logs used for reliability and cost control are kept for up to 7 days. We don't use your conversations to train AI models.
- Safety: automated filters block sexual or explicit content. If a message suggests someone may be in crisis, Soul AI replies with help resources and a person on our safety team may review it. Every AI message can be reported; a reported message and the few messages around it are kept for safety review for up to 90 days.
- Messages from Soul AI: it may send occasional notifications, within your notification settings and quiet hours. You can switch them off.
Automated features and AI
Soulmate uses AI models running on Cloudflare's network (Cloudflare Workers AI) to: phrase "why you might click" from facts that are actually true for both of you, suggest icebreakers and bio wording when you ask, turn an "Ask AI" search into filters, check photos for content that breaks our rules, and flag messages that look like scams or abuse.
- AI never pretends to be a person. The only AI you can chat with is Soul AI, which is always clearly labelled as AI.
- A message flagged as a possible scam shows you a safety warning. It isn't silently hidden.
- Decisions to ban an account are reviewed by a person. If you think we got something wrong, write to support@dreamithq.com.
- We do not use your messages or photos to train AI models.
What other people can see
Other Soulmate users can see your public profile: first name, age, gender, what you're looking for, approved photos, verified badge, and any optional details you add, plus your city or area, rounded distance (unless hidden) and roughly how recently you were active. They never see your email, phone number, date of birth, exact location or verification selfie. Only your matches can message or call you (or, if you choose to join it, the person you are paired with in Anonymous chat), and only the people in a conversation can read it.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that process it for us under contract, and only as needed:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting of our servers, database, file storage, AI processing, call relay servers (used when two phones can't connect directly), and this website.
- Google LLC (Firebase): sign-in (Firebase Authentication) and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- Google Play: app distribution and payments for Soulmate Plus.
We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect someone from serious harm (for example, reporting child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities), or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Your choices and rights
- See and edit your profile in the app at any time.
- Delete your account in the app or at findsoul.app/delete-account.
- Turn off location access, notifications, calls, or showing your distance, in the app or in your phone's settings.
- Withdraw consent for verification or optional details by removing them.
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, a restriction, or object to a use of it, by writing to support@dreamithq.com from the email or phone linked to your account. We reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or other countries with data protection laws), you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Calls are encrypted end to end between the two phones by WebRTC. Selfies sit in private storage. Access by our staff is limited to people who need it for safety or support, and admin actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us at support@dreamithq.com if you notice anything wrong.
Age limit
Soulmate is only for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to a child, we remove it. If you know of one, please report it.
International transfers
Our users live in many countries, and our providers run services worldwide. Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and the EU. We rely on our providers' contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where the law requires them.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
